Director – Arminder Kaur
Arminder has experience in the care sector since 2007 and started as a Care Worker in Sister Dora’s care home in Stafford.
Arminder has looked after people in their own homes and worked in various hospitals, providing her with a vast experience of different aspects of care.
Her experience has given Arminder the passion and drive to create Extra Mile Healthcare Limited with the support of some trusted colleagues. Arminder is dedicated to providing the best possible quality of care to all service users.
Registered Manager –
Kirsty Lawrence
Kirsty has worked in community care in Stafford since 2012, starting as a Community Care Assistant, gaining first-hand experience of dealing with Service Users who need various levels of care. At this time, Kirsty was also studying for a Psychology degree at Staffordshire University.
Kirsty graduated from university in 2014 and was then able to work more hours as a Community Care Assistant. Shortly afterwards, she became Team Leader for her previous employer and carried out various senior duties such as staff spot checks and quality assurance checks, whilst also continuing her role caring for Service Users in the community.
Kirsty began working in the office for her previous employer in 2016, helping out with auditing and filing. It was at this time she enrolled on the QCF Level 5 in Management in Health and Social Care and attained this qualification in 2017. At the end of 2017, Kirsty was promoted to a permanent role in the office as Senior Care & Operations Supervisor.
Kirsty has always been committed to providing Service Users with the highest quality of care. In 2021, she achieved the Registered Manager Award with the CQC and was named as Registered Manager for her previous employer. Now, as Registered Manager at Extra Mile Healthcare, Kirsty endeavours to ensure that staff members carry out their role with the highest standards, so that Service Users receive the best possible care that they deserve.
Senior Care Assessor –
Angela Pearce
Angela has almost 40 years of care experience from various settings including working in nursing homes, domiciliary care and also caring for her own family members.
Angela achieved her QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care in 2023 and has also previously completed a Moving and Handling Train the Trainer course so assisted with training new staff members at her previous company.
Angela has a passion for ensuring Service Users’ needs are met and enabling them to remain as independent as possible within their own homes. Her main role is assessing new Service Users and ensuring that all care plans are tailored to the individual needs of each Service User.
Senior HR Advisor – Sally Davies
Sally worked within the NHS for 37 years, completing a variety of roles during her time there. After qualifying as a General Nurse in 1988, Sally worked at St Giles Hospice before moving to Royal Stoke Hospital, where she specialised in working with patients with chronic kidney disease.
In 1998, Sally completed her Diploma in Nursing and moved to County Hospital’s Satellite Dialysis unit in 1999, where she was ward manager until taking early retirement in 2022.
Sally has always striven for the delivery of high-quality care for her patients, showing her compassion, knowledge and energy, thus ensuring the highest standards of care for all.
